Bring your pool back into balance with a multi-purpose shock that sanitizes, clarifies, and helps control algae.
-
Concentrated formula: You get 73% calcium hypochlorite, yielding 70% available chlorine, plus a pH of 11.
-
Routine dosage: Add 1 lb per 10,000 gallons of pool water; for algae, use 2 bags per 14,000 gallons until it is dead.
-
Careful application: Dilute it in a bucket of water before adding it around the pool to help prevent liner staining and cloudy water. Apply at night to limit loss from sunlight.
-
Swim-time guidance: Keep swimmers out for 8 to 10 hours after application, and use chemical test kits to check chlorine and pH levels.
